BRING YOUR LAPTOPS WITH PICO SCOPE 7 LOADED as we will be doing hands-on exercises during the class. You DO NOT need the scope itself, just your laptop with the PICO7 software loaded. We will be issuing practice waveforms.

Pressure can only do one of three things: Pressure can go UP, pressure can go DOWN and of course, pressure can stay the SAME. These simple principles can be diagnostic gold when looking for internal engine problems, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems and much more.

Come join us for this awesome class on pressure diagnostics, learn how to evaluate critical internal engine conditions quickly and effectively, WITHOUT engine disassembly!

We will cover:
• Compression, Ring Health Piston Conditions
• Vacuum and Pressure Waveforms
• Valve Actuation and Seats (sealing, condition and compression)
• VVT: Variable Valve Timing, Camshaft Timing and Position, Phaser Functions
• Reading the Pressure Waveform: Components, Flow and Diagnosis
• Learn how to quickly diagnose engine and driveability conditions
Night 2 (Thursday): We will run diagnostic routines utilizing the pressure transducer and PCM signal overlay!
